Randy didn't grow up with a blueprint. He came from a small, broken home marked by alcoholism and divorce. Stability wasn't guaranteed. Leadership wasn't modeled. Success wasn't assumed. He learned early that nothing moves forward unless someone decides to move it.

School wasn't smooth either — expelled twice, finished through summer school. Not pretty. But finished. That pattern would follow him.

By 29, he had built and sold his first logistics company in a multiple seven-figure acquisition. But the road wasn't clean. He's trusted the wrong people. Built partnerships that collapsed. Lost money chasing quick wins. Made decisions driven by ego instead of discipline. There were seasons where alcohol became an escape. Seasons where he nearly lost his marriage. Seasons where he lost parts of himself.

Then came the real tests. After COVID, the freight industry collapsed and LIWMI Logistics was on the edge. Instead of laying off his team, Randy ran two companies simultaneously under a short-term contract just to keep people paid and the lights on. In 2021, they were hacked — he had to let go of his entire team and vendors because trust was compromised. Six months of rebuilding. Starting over, again.

That single shift — from you to we — is the foundation of everything Randy does. You can't control the market. You can't control betrayal. You can't control setbacks. But you can control your mindset and your daily actions. Take ownership long enough, and you build something real.

LIWMI is a movement to drive people together — spouses, colleagues, customers, friends, strangers — to help each other and realize that moving the world forward is about all of us working together. It starts with you. It grows with us.

And underneath all of it — the mindset, the work, the people — is faith. Every time Randy's back was against the wall, God showed up and moved things forward. That relationship isn't a footnote. It's the reason the story exists at all.
